The Stryder Group of Companies Expands its Reach with Strategic Acquisition of Atlas Columbia Warehouse

Stryder is pleased to announce our acquisition of Atlas Columbia Warehouse, effective June 1, 2024.

A long-time neighbor to our Tacoma facility, Atlas Columbia Warehouse (ACW) has been a keystone in the paper distribution industry in the Greater Seattle area since 1988, under the leadership of Owner and President Michael Mason, who purchased the storied company in 2001 from original founders

Richard Kott and Ron Mason. We are honored to have Mr. Mason passing the torch of the company’s legacy on to Stryder and continuing to work with us through the transition.

Each year, ACW has seen consistent growth through the expansion of its warehousing footprint and customer portfolio, and the enhancement of its service offerings with the support of a dedicated and talented operations team. Featuring 166,000 ft² of paper-grade warehousing space and clocking in a total of over 300,000 ft² when combined with our sister facility across the road.

ACW will continue to offer the same trusted storage services, along with some new additions as part of Stryder’s Consolidated Service Model, including:

  • Bulk Paper Distribution
  • Drayage Services
  • Freight Transportation
  • Logistics Management
  • Transloading/Cross Docking
  • Rail Transfers, BNSF and UPRR Served

Under the same umbrella as the Stryder Group of Companies within SaamCo Enterprises, ACW is now part of the largest paper warehousing conglomerate servicing the Port of Tacoma. Atlas Columbia Warehouse will continue to proudly operate under its own banner and as a premier warehousing choice for some of the largest paper manufacturers on the continent. We are incredibly excited to have the ACW team joining the Stryder Family!
